In 2019, we came up with the idea for Wasali because we wanted to improve everyday life for people in Algeria. We saw a growing need for efficient and affordable delivery solutions, so we decided to start a company that would change the home delivery sector.

We started small, with a dedicated team and a clear vision: to provide fast and reliable delivery for all types of products. We faced many challenges, from logistics to making people aware of our service. But overcoming each obstacle made us more determined.
In 2020, after many months of preparation, we officially launched Wasali. It was a memorable moment celebrated by our team and our first customers. We began forming partnerships with local restaurants, grocery stores, and other merchants to expand our service offerings.
As the months went by, demand for our services grew rapidly. We invested in advanced technology to improve our platform, making it easier for customers to place orders and for us to manage deliveries. In 2021, we participated in various events like Algeria Disrupt, where we shared our vision and met inspiring entrepreneurs.
During this time, I also focused on developing my career and expanding my network within the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Algeria. Through networking, I gained opportunities to visit many countries and participate in several programs that enriched my experience and perspective.

In 2022, Wasali participated in the Sylabs Acceleration Program, which provided us with valuable resources and connections. This program helped us refine our business model and prepared us to enter the seed stage. We are now starting a funding round to raise funds globally, leveraging the insights and networks gained from this program.

One of the most significant aspects of Wasali is its social impact. We enable anyone to work with us as a partner, even those without transportation means. Partners can join us at their convenience, without the need for paperwork; they simply need to register, and we handle the rest.
For our customers, Wasali offers a versatile delivery service. They can use our platform to deliver anything, including bakery items, household goods, pizza, cosmetics, fruits, and even personal belongings. This flexibility not only supports local businesses but also empowers individuals in our community.
